The Network

The Philosophy and Literature Network was established in 2009 in a Thematic Network protocol between the Institute for the Philosophy of Language of the New University of Lisbon and the Program in Literary Theory of the University of Lisbon. This PROTOCOL aims to explore the relationships between various areas in the humanities, specifically, but not exclusively, in the realm of literary studies and the philosophy of art.

Combining a research unit and a teaching program, the Network promotes the mobility of students and researchers in public initiatives and common research projects, such as the integration of research and teaching practice, with the objective of enhancing the employability of PhD graduate researchers.

Most of our activities are held in the scope of research projects hosted by the Institute for the Philosophy of Language (IFL).
