Dear Colleagues,

Just a last-minute reminder that the submission deadline for the 3rd Annual Philosophy and the Arts Conference at Stony Brook Manhattan is just around the corner! Please consider submitting your original papers and artwork to this unique and popular interdisciplinary event!

--------

3rd Annual Philosophy and the Arts Grad Conference - Stony Brook University, Manhattan
March 26th-27th, 2010
Last-minute CFP reminder!!

This is a final reminder that the deadline for paper and artwork submissions is January 13th, 2010. This year's conference theme, "Collectively," is intended to investigate collective actions and entities broadly construed, especially as they arise in the intersections between philosophy and the arts. As an interdisciplinary conference, we welcome innovative submissions from any discipline or theoretical perspective, and especially encourage the submission of original artwork for presentation. This conference is one of our department's most anticipated events, so I hope you will consider contributing your work to create an exciting and rigorous conversation!

All papers should be formatted for blind review, with an abstract and a separate cover sheet containing identifying info, and should be suitable for a 20-minute presentation (about 3000 words). Artwork submissions should include a maximum of 5 images, or 3 minutes of video, along with a presentation proposal summarizing your work's relevance to the conference themes and the presentation format. All presentations should be sent to philosophyartconference@gmail.com, along with any questions about the conference. Please visit http://philosophyartconference.org to read the full call for papers, FAQ, and complete submission instructions.

Best Regards,
